Yeonggwang-gun Conducts 'Tax Education' for All Employees
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jeonseong] Jeollanam-do Yeonggwang-gun (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 10th that it conducted tax education for all employees on the 9th at the large conference room on the 3rd floor of the county office.
This education aims to enable not only the employees in charge of tax affairs but all employees to appropriately guide the residents regarding inquiries related to tax filing and payment that follow compensation work while promoting it.
Tax accountant Jeong Seunghwan, who is active as a village tax accountant, was invited as an instructor and briefly explained the main contents of local taxes such as national taxes including capital gains tax, acquisition tax, and local income tax in an easy-to-understand manner for employees.
Due to the continuation of the COVID-19 social distancing level 3, it was difficult to conduct face-to-face education for all employees due to attendance restrictions, so 90 people (including 50 fully vaccinated) who applied in advance participated in on-site education while complying with quarantine rules.
Employees who did not attend watched the training via the internal TV, allowing all employees to participate in the education.
A county official said, “Through this education, we hope that employees will guide residents more actively and accurately regarding tax inquiries, minimizing residents’ financial damages such as additional taxes related to taxes.”
