Mokpo National Maritime University Signs Agreement for Offshore Wind Power Technology Sharing

(CEO Kim Ho-bin) signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement to share offshore wind power technology at 11 a.m. on the 8th in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the university headquarters.
According to Mokpo National Maritime University, this agreement was made to create jobs in the southwestern sea area through the training of offshore wind power operations and maintenance (Operations·Maintenance) personnel, to revitalize the renewable energy industry, and to promote mutual development of both institutions through sharing the latest technical information.
Through the agreement, Mokpo National Maritime University will establish an offshore wind power operations and maintenance education center and operate internationally certified training courses, while Korea Midland Power Co., Ltd. will support the establishment of the education center and participate in related training courses to secure specialized wind power O&M personnel.
