WEMAKEPRICE Initiates Refund for 15,000 Merge Point Buyers...31 Billion KRW in Total

Wemakeprice stated on the 7th, "Since Merge Plus reduced its affiliated usage locations on the 11th of last month, we have been providing full refunds to customers who purchased Merge Point from Wemakeprice but did not register the product."
In addition, Wemakeprice has requested the seller and issuer for the 'full data of points registered but unused by customers who purchased in August' in order to proceed with refunds for customers who have already registered the products purchased last month.
As a result, the seller provided the relevant information on the afternoon of the 6th, and after data verification, Wemakeprice plans to proceed with refunds for customers who registered the products as well. The number of customers who purchased Merge Point on the Wemakeprice platform last month was 15,127, with a total payment amount of 3,094,530,000 KRW.
Customers who purchased products in August but did not register them or registered but did not use the Merge Point will receive a 100% refund of the payment amount. Customers who used some of the registered points will be refunded 80% of the remaining points (equivalent to 100% of the payment amount).
For example, if a customer purchased 200,000 Merge Points for 160,000 KRW and did not use any points, they will be refunded 160,000 KRW. If a customer purchased 200,000 Merge Points for 160,000 KRW and used 100,000 points, they will be refunded 80,000 KRW.

Wemakeprice will process full refunds by canceling the payment method for customers who did not use any points purchased in August by the 8th. For customers who used some points, the refund amount will be deposited into the bank account information registered with Wemakeprice.
