Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station Conducts Safety Inspection of Traditional Markets Ahead of Chuseok Holiday
Special Fire Safety Inspections Also Underway
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Fire Station (Chief Song Seonghun) is working hard to ensure the safety of citizens during the Chuseok holiday.
Gwangsan Fire Station announced on the 7th that it will conduct safety inspections of traditional markets and special fire investigations together ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
This inspection will be conducted by the center chiefs visiting the sites in person by the 10th, targeting six traditional markets in Gwangsan-gu, including Songjeong Maeil Market.
The inspection includes ▲visible fire extinguisher checks ▲emergency fire equipment inspection and usage training ▲fire prevention safety consulting ▲activities to remove fire risk factors within traditional markets.
Chief Song Seonghun said, “We will do our best to ensure that citizens can have a safe and comfortable holiday during the Chuseok period through thorough fire prevention.”
