T'way Air Provides Emergency Exit Seats for Firefighters... Enhancing Safety
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] T'way Air announced on the 7th that it will prioritize providing emergency exit seats to firefighters.
Emergency exit seats located in the middle of the aircraft are sold to general customers aged 15 and older who can assist flight attendants in safety activities during emergencies.
Emergency exit seats are critical as they are located next to operable emergency doors, making them important for responding to emergency situations.
From now on, remaining emergency exit seats on all routes will be prioritized for firefighters. Active firefighters can receive seat assignments after verifying their firefighter identification (firefighter ID card) at the airport counter when boarding the aircraft.
T'way Air also offers discounts to current and former firefighters and their families for travel convenience: 25% off during the domestic low season, 10% off on weekends and peak seasons, and 7% off during the international low season.
