Jeonbuk Hyundai's Gu Ja-ryong and Kim Min-hyuk Donate 10 Million Won for COVID-19 Prevention to Wanju County
[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC defenders Gu Ja-ryong and Kim Min-hyeok donated 10 million won in quarantine funds to Wanju County's '1111 Social Communication Fund' to help overcome the COVID-19 crisis.
On the 3rd, they met with Park Seong-il, the governor of Wanju County, and delivered the donation.
Player Gu Ja-ryong is an alumnus of Wanju Middle School and has played for Suwon Samsung Bluewings and Ansan Police FC before currently playing as a defender for Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC.
Additionally, player Kim Min-hyeok, a graduate of Suncheon High School, has experience playing for Japan's Sagan Tosu, participated in the Incheon Asian Games football event, and represented the men's national team in the EAFF East Asian Cup. He is a key defender for Jeonbuk Hyundai.
They said, "Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we hope this can be of some help to the residents of Wanju County who are facing difficulties. We also sincerely wish for the pandemic to end soon so we can meet the fully packed crowds again."
Park Seong-il, governor of Wanju County, expressed his gratitude, saying, "Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors FC being based in Wanju County is a pride for our county, and the players' thoughtful hearts for the residents are beautiful.
