Changwon City Forms Expert Advisory Committee for the Establishment of Cultural Landmark 'Changwon Museum'

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Changwon City, Gyeongnam, formed the 'Changwon Museum Construction Advisory Committee' composed of experts in various fields on the 1st to secure professionalism and objectivity in the Changwon Museum construction project and has begun full-scale activities.
The Changwon Museum project aims to build a comprehensive museum with a total area of 14,748㎡ in the Jungang-dong area of Seongsan-gu next to Changwon Hospital, creating a new cultural landmark for the city.
It is planned to be built as an educational and experiential cultural facility where various historical, cultural resources, and industrial and labor contents can be enjoyed, with completion scheduled for 2025.
The city appointed 17 advisory committee members for the Changwon Museum construction and held the first advisory meeting at the city council's main conference room.
The committee members are experts in six fields: politics and administration, history and culture, labor, industry, exhibition, and architecture, and will provide advice on major matters related to the museum construction over the next two years.
