"Cultural Arts Education Certification, Obtain It at Gyeongnam University Without Going Far" ... Department of Cultural Contents Passes Major Qualification Review
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Department of Cultural Contents (Muncon Department) at Gyeongnam National University recently announced on the 1st that it has passed the major education curriculum and major recognition review for obtaining the 'Cultural Arts Educator' certification from the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service.
The Muncon Department currently operates three courses in the theater field, which are part of the recognized subjects for Cultural Arts Educators: Theater Education Theory, Theater Teaching and Learning Methods, and Theater Education Program Development, as well as two common job competency courses: Introduction to Cultural Arts Education and Understanding and Practice of Cultural Arts Education Field.
With this approval, students in the Muncon Department who complete all these courses will be able to obtain the Level 2 Nationally Certified Cultural Arts Educator Certificate (theater field) in the future.
Becoming a Cultural Arts Educator allows one to work not only in the arts field but also as administrators, regional experts, planners, and more, in national and public as well as private educational facilities such as performance halls, museums, art galleries, libraries, cultural centers, and transmission centers.
