Hyundai Motor Securities Surpasses 20,000 VIP Customers... "Doubled in One and a Half Years"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] Hyundai Motor Securities announced on the 1st that the number of VIP customers has surpassed 20,000. This is the result of steadily strengthening VIP services, such as expanding asset management services and reorganizing the rating system, since the inauguration of President Byung-chul Choi last year.
According to the '2021 First Half VIP Customer Status' compiled by Hyundai Motor Securities, as of the end of June this year, the number of VIP customers was approximately 21,000. This is more than double compared to the end of 2019 (about 9,900), before President Choi took office. The assets entrusted by VIP customers to the company also increased by 106%, from 3.4597 trillion KRW to 7.1222 trillion KRW during the same period.
Since taking office, President Byung-chul Choi has significantly strengthened Hyundai Motor Securities' VIP service, ’THE H VIP SERVICE’. ’THE H VIP SERVICE’ offers benefits including asset management services such as tax consulting and asset portfolio consulting, the first-time provision of VIP customer gifts, long-term excellent customer gifts, and premium gifts for top customers on holidays and birthdays. In the second half of last year, new services such as real estate consulting, investment report services, and major shareholder capital gains tax filing agency services were introduced. At the end of last year, the ‘VIP CHOICE SERVICE’ was established, allowing top-tier VIP customers to choose from premium services such as hotel accommodation vouchers and golf packages.
The VIP rating system, which used to change monthly, was also reorganized. The main point is that if the upgraded VIP rating conditions are maintained for three months, the upgraded rating service is provided for one year. Accessibility and convenience for VIP customers were also enhanced by enabling one-stop use of VIP rating criteria, periods, VIP service guidance, and applications through the MTS.
