Gimhae City Council Holds Members' Meeting Ahead of the 239th Extraordinary Session
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] The Gimhae City Council in Gyeongnam announced on the 31st that it held a members' meeting to discuss key pending projects with the executive branch ahead of the 239th extraordinary session.
The main agenda items included the formulation of the 2nd supplementary budget for 2021, the disbursement of Gimhae Economic Vitality Funds, a progress report on the construction project of Gimhae Sports Complex, and the status of normalization of Gimhae intercity bus operations. Through Q&A sessions, opinions on issues and improvements were exchanged.
Additionally, as part of the council secretariat's agenda, discussions were held on the operation guide for the 2021 Gimhae City Council debate, the appointment of members to the Budget and Accounts Special Committee for the 239th extraordinary session, and statistical data on the legislative activities of the 8th council members.
Chairman Song Yoo-in urged, "As the economic difficulties of small business owners and self-employed individuals have intensified, I hope the city will devise the maximum possible methods to mobilize the Economic Vitality Funds and complete payments before Chuseok."
