Jeonnam Provincial Council to Convene 356th Extraordinary Session on Next Month 1st
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] The Jeonnam Provincial Council announced on the 31st that it will hold the 356th extraordinary session for 10 days from the 1st to the 10th of next month.
This extraordinary session will handle various agenda items, including questions on provincial and educational administration, as well as ordinances aimed at supporting the stability of residents' lives and resolving inconveniences.
The provincial and educational administration questions, scheduled for three days from the 6th to the 8th, will involve 24 council members who will review current issues across provincial and educational administration and propose policy alternatives for identified problems.
The three-day provincial and educational administration questions will be broadcast live within the province through terrestrial broadcasters such as KBS, KBC, and MBC, while LG HelloVision and Gwangju CMB will broadcast recorded programs. Additionally, the sessions will be streamed online (including mobile) via the Jeonnam Provincial Council website.
This extraordinary session will handle a total of 48 agenda items closely related to residents' lives, including the "Jeollanam-do Workplace Harassment Prohibition Ordinance" proposed by Representative Jung Ok-nim, the "Jeollanam-do Microplastic Reduction Support Ordinance" proposed by Representative Na Gwang-guk, the "Jeollanam-do Offshore Wind Power Industry Activation Support Ordinance" proposed by Representative Jo Ok-hyun, the "Jeollanam-do Personal Mobility Device Use and Safety Promotion Partial Amendment Ordinance" proposed by Representative Kim Hee-dong, the "Jeollanam-do Seed Industry Promotion and Support Ordinance" proposed by Representative Jung Kwang-ho, and the "Jeollanam-do Office of Education School Violence Prevention and Countermeasures Partial Amendment Ordinance" proposed by Representative Kim Jeong-hee.
