This program helps companies closely examine exemplary cases of smart factory solution utilization and determine the future direction for adopting smart factories.
The pilot smart factory in the Incheon area is Yeonwoo Co., Ltd., a cosmetics container manufacturer located in Seo-gu, which is a representative company that has enhanced its competitiveness, including productivity, after adopting a smart factory.
In 2018, with the support of the Incheon Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration and Incheon TP, the company established smart factory solutions such as PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling optimization), automation equipment (3 feeders and 4 stackers), inventory management system, and automated facilities. It is at Level 3 out of the 5 levels of smart factories.
Since 2019, 212 people, including executives and employees of companies wishing to adopt smart factories and young smart factory experience groups, have participated in 14 tour programs organized by Incheon TP, thoroughly examining the operational technology information and achievements of smart factories.
The online tour program, which includes real-time Q&A while viewing process-specific videos of the pilot factory via video conferencing (Zoom), will also be held at the end of this month.
The recruitment capacity is around 20 people, and applications for the tour can be submitted through the Smart Factory Project Management System website.
