'D-11' Expo Preparation in Full Swing, Emphasis on Thorough COVID-19 Prevention and Current Task Management
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Seo Chunsu, the mayor of Hamyang County, urged at an executive meeting to do their best to prepare for the successful hosting of the 2021 Hamyang Wild Ginseng Anti-Aging Expo so that it can become a role model expo in the era of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
On the morning of the 30th, Hamyang County held an executive meeting chaired by Mayor Seo, where reports were made on important pending projects to be promoted by each department, and cooperation from each department was drawn out for the smooth promotion of the projects.
On this day, Mayor Seo emphasized, “With only D-11 days left until the expo, please make thorough preparations from quarantine to all event arrangements so that it can be remembered as a successful expo held alongside COVID-19.”
He continued, “Perfect preparation is needed from the completion of the event site to quarantine and safety management, parking, and restroom convenience facilities,” and ordered, “Please do your best during the remaining period to instill a safe and pleasant image of Hamyang to visitors coming to the Hamyang Expo.”
In addition, Mayor Seo requested urgent tasks including COVID-19 quarantine and vaccination, next year’s budget formulation, securing national and provincial funds, improving integrity, and increasing population.
