Principal Jeong Han-seong, originally from Jindo, Jeollanam-do, began his teaching career in 1983 at Haenam Yeongmyeong Middle School, and after serving as a principal through a public recruitment system at Mokpo High School, Haenam High School, Namaak High School, and Muan High School, he has been serving as the principal of Gangjin High School since 2019.
Since his appointment at Gangjin High School, Principal Jeong has emphasized the need for creative education to develop students' core competencies, achieving concrete results by promoting distinctive educational activities such as the selection for the ‘2020 Youth Nobel Camp’ and the ‘19th Jeonnam Student Invention Story Contest,’ winning awards in various fields.
Principal Jeong Han-seong stated, “Although it is not a large amount, I decided to donate the scholarship to give back to the local community that has spared no support for the development of Gangjin students.”

In response, all scholarship students wrote and sent letters expressing their gratitude to the citizens who donated the scholarships.
