Kyungbok University Conducts Career Experience Education for High School Students
[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Kyungbok University conducted career experience education for high school 2nd and 3rd-year students.
Kyungbok University announced on the 30th that it held a career and college admission education support experience program for 145 2nd and 3rd-year students of Gwangdong High School in Jinjeop-eup at the Namyangju Campus over two days from the 26th to the 27th.
Gwangdong High School signed a career and college admission education support business agreement with Kyungbok University in 2018.
The departments targeted for this experience activity were linked to three majors: Software Convergence (Cybersecurity, Data Analysis major), Eco-friendly Architecture, and Service Management.
Kim Seung-bae, Director of Admissions and Public Relations at Kyungbok University, said, "We prepared various programs to introduce academic majors to help students solve their career concerns in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, which received a good response. We will continue to develop various department-linked career experience programs that can foster an educational donation culture in the local community and increase student satisfaction."

Kyungbok University ranked first in integrated employment rate among metropolitan area universities (with over 2,000 graduates) for four consecutive years from 2017 to 2020, as announced by the Ministry of Education, and in 2020, it ranked first nationwide in employment rate among four-year universities and colleges (with over 2,000 graduates).
