Seven Eleven Delivers 'Love Supplies' for Local Children to Food Bank
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Seven Eleven announced on the 30th that it has delivered a 'Sharing of Love Goods' to the Korea National Council on Social Welfare's National Food Bank.
The donated items consist of snacks, beverages, toys, and other goods worth a total of approximately 45 million KRW, and will be distributed to children in the local community, including children suffering from food insecurity and welfare facilities, through the National Food Bank.
Seven Eleven's Sharing of Love Goods has been continuously carried out since 2009. In particular, since last year, it has strengthened emergency COVID-19 support for children in local communities who are experiencing difficulties in their daily lives due to the pandemic. From April last year until now, Seven Eleven has delivered love goods to the National Food Bank a total of 10 times, with cumulative donations reaching 300 million KRW.
