[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] EnerEver Battery Solution Co., Ltd. (CEO Shin Sang-gi), a manufacturer of coated separators and base material separators for secondary batteries, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a factory at Wanju Technovalley on the 27th.
EnerEver Battery Solution Co., Ltd. is a separator-specialized company holding patents for coated separator manufacturing and equipment for secondary batteries.
EnerEver Battery Solution has selected Wanju Technovalley as the optimal location to grow as a separator-specialized company producing not only coated separators for secondary batteries but also base materials, and plans to develop this site as its headquarters.
In particular, on a 32,730㎡ industrial site in the 2nd General Industrial Complex of Wanju Technovalley, the company will establish a new production plant by 2026 with an investment of 127.6 billion KRW, creating 220 new jobs.
Additionally, through continuous investment, the company plans to lay a foundation for sustained growth, including pursuing an initial public offering (IPO) in the future.
Since being selected as a hydrogen pilot city, Wanju County has been striving to attract new industries such as hydrogen and secondary batteries and plans to provide unwavering support so that these companies can grow using Wanju as a foothold.
