Seoul City Reports 'Sarang Jeil Church' for Violating Quarantine Rules by Forcing Outdoor Worship Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it has reported the officials of Sarang Jeil Church in Seongbuk-gu, who forcibly held a worship service in the city center last week, to investigative authorities on charges of violating the Infectious Disease Control and Prevention Act.
On the 27th, Park Yumi, Seoul's quarantine control officer, explained in a briefing, "About 800 people, including church members and officials of Sarang Jeil Church, forcibly held an outdoor worship service on the 22nd," adding, "We judged that they violated the Level 4 quarantine measures and have taken legal action against the officials of Sarang Jeil Church."
