[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] Russia strongly condemned the series of suicide bombings that occurred on the outskirts of Kabul Airport in Afghanistan on the 26th (local time).
According to RIA Novosti and other sources, Anatoly Antonov, Russian Ambassador to the United States, issued a statement on the day, saying, "Terrorism is an evil that has no place on Earth and can only be overcome through joint efforts," urging the international community to respond collectively.
Ambassador Antonov compared terrorism to an epidemic, emphasizing, "To eliminate the infection of humanity, it is necessary to double international cooperation."
Antonov expressed condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims and wished for their speedy recovery.
