View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 26th that it held a ‘2021 Second Half Audit Capacity Enhancement Training’ at the Jeonnam Education Training Institute, attended by 48 audit officers from the headquarters and education support offices.
This training was organized to strengthen audit capabilities necessary to realize the third term of the elected government’s goal of ‘trustworthy and transparent educational administration’ and to support students living in the future society to pioneer their own lives and develop the ability to live together.
The training focused on practical and beneficial content such as understanding the ‘2015 Revised Curriculum’ and the direction of Jeonnam education, emphasizing the essential basic skills and professional expertise required for auditing individual schools.
Participants learned about academic audit practices and shared audit cases, understood the special education fund and school accounting system, and studied investigation procedures and techniques, while also exploring solutions to difficulties encountered during audits.

Audit Officer Kim Sung-in said, “Despite many restrictions on activities due to COVID-19, this meaningful event was prepared to faithfully fulfill the original duties as audit officers and to realize trustworthy and transparent educational administration,” and added, “I hope this training will serve as an opportunity to conduct more substantial audits in the field and take the lead in realizing transparent Jeonnam education.”
