According to the county on the 26th, this meeting was prepared to share major military administration matters after the 3rd anniversary of the 7th local government term with young village heads in their 40s to 50s, and to listen to inconveniences and suggestions by eup and myeon to seek the development direction and vision of Gangjin-gun.
On this day, County Governor Lee Seung-ok provided guidance on residents' concerns such as the follow-up measures after the declaration of a special disaster area due to heavy rain damage in July, measures by sector, government plans and payment timing related to the 5th disaster relief fund, and budget status.
Also, although more than 70% of Gangjin-gun residents have received the first COVID-19 vaccination and more than 30% have completed vaccination, the risk of breakthrough infection has increased due to the Delta variant virus, so he urged compliance with mask-wearing and various quarantine rules.
In particular, the attending village heads and Governor Lee Seung-ok exchanged various opinions not only on village matters but also on the Gangjin 2nd General Industrial Complex under development by the county, urban regeneration projects, and the creation of local gardens.
Choi Sang-hoon, village head of Hwajeon Village, said, “I had many thoughts for the development of the county, but as COVID-19 prolonged, it was difficult to meet, so I only had thoughts, but it was good to meet the governor and village heads in person and share opinions,” and “I thank the governor for arranging this opportunity.”
Governor Lee Seung-ok said, “It was a small group meeting format where I could freely talk with the village heads and collect various opinions,” and “I will continue to strive to lay the foundation for regional development through meetings with residents in various fields.”
