However, among supporters of their respective parties, Song received a more positive evaluation than Lee.
According to the National Barometer Survey (NBS) conducted from the 23rd to the 25th by four polling agencies?Embrain Public, K-Stat Research, Korea Research, and Hankook Research?Lee received a positive evaluation of 44% (5% very well, 39% fairly well) and a negative evaluation of 41% (11% very poorly, 30% poorly), indicating an overall positive rating. Among People Power Party supporters, Lee's approval rating was 51% (8% very well, 43% fairly well), with a negative evaluation of 43% (13% very poorly, 30% poorly).
Song received a positive evaluation of 36% (3% very well, 34% fairly well) and a negative evaluation of 45% (11% very poorly, 34% poorly). Compared to the poll conducted from June 14 to 16, positive evaluations increased by 2 percentage points, and negative evaluations rose by 6 percentage points. Among Democratic Party supporters, Song's approval rating was 55% (5% very well, 50% fairly well), with a negative evaluation of 32% (26% very poorly, 6% poorly). Unlike the general public opinion poll, the proportion of positive responses within the Democratic Party is relatively high.
