Hyundai Motor Group Unveils Vision for a 'Hydrogen Society'... 'Hydrogen Wave' Event to Be Held on the 7th of Next Month

First Reveal of Future Hydrogen Mobility and Next-Generation Fuel Cell Systems
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Je-hoon] Hyundai Motor Group will unveil its world-class hydrogen technology and future vision accumulated over the past 23 years to realize a hydrogen society. The group plans to present the potential of hydrogen-related technologies by first revealing future hydrogen mobility and next-generation fuel cell systems.
Hyundai Motor Group announced on the 26th that it will hold a global online event called 'Hydrogen Wave' on the 7th of next month. Hydrogen Wave is an event that showcases all of Hyundai Motor Group's capabilities related to hydrogen.
The event name, Hydrogen Wave, signifies the company's commitment to leading the rapid advent of the hydrogen era and addressing climate change by creating a global wave of hydrogen through technological innovation, the company explained.
In particular, the event date, the 7th of next month, coincides with the 'World Clean Air Day for Blue Skies,' designated by the United Nations (UN) upon South Korea's proposal, which is expected to further highlight the significance of hydrogen as a solution to climate change.
At this event, Hyundai Motor Group will present its future hydrogen business strategy to realize a hydrogen society and demonstrate the definite potential of hydrogen and hydrogen fuel cell technologies by unveiling future hydrogen mobility and next-generation fuel cell systems for the first time.
The event will be broadcast globally online on the 7th of next month, and the future hydrogen mobility and next-generation fuel cell systems unveiled on that day will be exhibited for four days starting from the 8th at KINTEX in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province, allowing the general public to view them.
Meanwhile, Hyundai Motor Group has released three teaser videos previewing the future hydrogen product lineup to be unveiled at Hydrogen Wave through its dedicated website and YouTube channel. Each video features new hydrogen mobility, a mobile hydrogen refueler, and a high-performance hydrogen sports car.
