Pohang City Temporarily Reopens Route 31 'Ipam2gyo' Area Overnight After Heavy Rain Disruption

On the 24th, Pohang City announced on the 25th that it completed ground reinforcement and temporarily reopened the road near Ipam 2 Bridge on National Route 31, where about 40 meters of the road connected to the bridge was washed away by heavy rain, through overnight restoration work involving 10 dump trucks and 4 excavators.
The road, temporarily reopened after emergency restoration was completed that morning, had been partially washed away due to the overflow of Jahocheon Stream caused by 129mm of heavy rain in about 3 hours on the 24th.
Pohang City immediately requested assistance from the Pohang National Land Management Office and completed the restoration and reopening of the temporary road within a day through overnight work.
