[Muan＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan Fire Station (Chief Park Ui-seung) announced that it conducted a "Field Firefighter Fire Response Capability Enhancement Training and Performance Measurement" over two days from the 24th to the 25th, focusing on team-based fire response tactics, suppression techniques, and life rescue skills.

This training and evaluation were carried out to improve suppression capabilities that can efficiently and promptly respond to increasingly diverse and large-scale fire situations, reflecting the strong will of Chief Park Ui-seung, who newly assumed office on July 1st.

In particular, for this training and evaluation, a life-sized training fire door was produced so that all staff could directly use levers and power cutters to open it, creating and assessing a realistic on-site situation.

Muan Fire Station organized 15 teams (5 members per team) from 4 safety centers and 1 rescue squad to focus on rapid dispatch, initial fire situation assessment, efficient command, large-volume water application, fire suppression, and life rescue.

From now until November, the training will be conducted once a month for a total of four times, with different fire targets and situations each time to ensure quick and accurate responses to changing circumstances.

The Chief of Muan Fire Station stated, "We will continuously study and educate advanced suppression techniques and various fire cases from developed countries and do our best in our role as safety guardians protecting the property and lives of the people."
