A Blue House official responded to reporters' questions on the 24th with this statement.
Earlier, the Taliban government expressed in an interview its hope for economic cooperation with Korea and its desire to be recognized as a legitimate government.
When asked whether the Blue House sympathizes with the acceptance of Afghan refugees at domestic U.S. military bases, the official replied, "Currently, we are not included in that."
Regarding Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) Commissioner Jung Eun-kyung's mention of reviewing a 'With Corona' policy, the official said, "We are in close consultation with the KDCA and the Ministry of Health and Welfare, and the Blue House will provide related remarks when appropriate," withholding further comments.
