US FDA Grants Full Approval to Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine (Breaking News)

[Asia Economy New York=Correspondent Baek Jong-min] The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officially approved the use of the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech on the 23rd (local time).
Janet Woodcock, Acting FDA Commissioner, stated in a press release, "The Pfizer vaccine has met the FDA's high standards for safety, efficacy, and manufacturing quality." Pfizer submitted its application for full approval of the COVID vaccine to the FDA in early May.
The U.S. authorities are scheduled to hold a press briefing at 11 a.m. on the same day regarding the full approval of the Pfizer vaccine.
