Honam University Holds Online Workshop to Disseminate Educational Achievements
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Honam University Education Performance Management Center (Director Kim Jin-gang) announced on the 23rd that it held a non-face-to-face summer education performance dissemination workshop for all faculty and staff.
The workshop, attended by President Park Sang-chul and about 270 faculty and staff, was conducted for 1 hour and 30 minutes focusing on Section 1 overall education performance management of the curriculum and Section 2 sharing of outstanding cases of extracurricular learning outcomes.
In Section 1, presentations were given on “Operation Results and Plans of the Education Performance Management Center” by Research Professor Kim Su-jin of the Education Performance Management Center, “Operation Cases of Learner-tailored Learning Coaching Programs” by Full-time Professor Lee Sung-ah of the Teaching and Learning Development Institute, and “Development of Liberal Arts Curriculum Completion System and AI Extracurricular Programs” by Dean Kang Hyun-joo of the AI College of Liberal Arts.
Also, in Section 2, presentations followed on “Efforts and Future Plans of the University Job Center” by Director Kim Eun-ah of the Employment and Startup Support Group, “Operation Cases of Group Counseling and Telephone Counseling” by Director Kim Mi-rye of the Student Counseling Center, and “Outstanding Cases of Extracurricular Program Operation” by Director Lee Moon-young of the Extracurricular Integrated Support Center.
The faculty and staff who participated in the workshop expressed, “It seems very helpful as we were able to receive a lot of accurate information about the goals and direction of the curriculum for the next semester.”
