In this tournament with 12 teams nationwide, Hyundai High School defeated the 'defending champion' Gangwon Hwacheon Jeongsan High School 3-1, thanks to Jang Jinyoung's multi-goals and Hwang Ahhyun's headed goal, securing the championship.
Hyundai High School advanced to the quarterfinals as the top team in their group with three wins in the group stage, and won 2-0 against the queen's cup champion Gyeongbuk Pohang Women's Jeon High School in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, they drew 2-2 with Jeonnam Gwangyang Women's High School, the spring league champion and queen's cup runner-up, and after a tense penalty shootout, they won 4-2 to advance to the final.
Hyundai High School, which won the runner-up in the spring league in April, took the championship again after three years since their 2018 victory, taking the first step toward winning the 2021 Autumn Korean Women's Football Federation Championship and the National Sports Festival.
