Imsil-gun Donates Cool Scarves to COVID-19 Medical Staff
[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Nosik] Hansanggyu, former president of the Gyeonggi Incheon Jeonbuk Residents' Association, donated 110 cool scarves to medical staff in Imsil County.
According to the county on the 20th, the Gyeonggi Incheon Jeonbuk Residents' Association is an organization of people from Jeonbuk residing in Gyeonggi Province and Incheon.
Former President Han has always shown interest and love for the region and has carried out various hometown love benevolent acts.
Former President Han said, "I hope this will provide some strength to the medical staff working on the front lines to prevent COVID-19 during the heatwave."
He added, "The hardships of medical staff protecting residents from infectious diseases must be very great," and "I wanted to offer some help to those who are struggling day after day to protect local residents from COVID-19."
The cool scarves were delivered to medical staff working at the county health medical center.
The county maintains the lowest number of confirmed cases in the province and is focusing on promoting personal quarantine measures to the public, such as social distancing and mandatory mask-wearing, within a thorough quarantine system.
Since last year, the county has continued various administrative efforts, including providing masks to all residents four times.
With the dedication of medical staff centered at the county health medical center and the active cooperation of residents, the county is maintaining a COVID-19 clean area.
County Governor Shim Min said, "Thanks to the efforts of medical personnel fighting on the front lines in these difficult times of COVID-19 spread, we are protecting the safety of local residents from COVID-19," and "We appreciate the interest and donation for such hard work."
