Police Arrest Drunken Merchant Wielding Weapon at Garak Fish Market
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] A merchant who wielded a weapon and injured a market manager at Garak Fish Market in Songpa-gu, Seoul, was arrested by the police.
The Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced on the 19th that they had arrested Mr. A on charges of aggravated assault.
Mr. A is accused of wielding a weapon while intoxicated at Garak Fish Market around 7:30 a.m. that day, injuring the market manager. The victim sustained wounds on the hand and was taken to the hospital, but it is reported that there is no life-threatening condition.
