Wando-gun Recruiting 'Local Writers' to Share News on Returning to Farming and Rural Living
Residents Conduct On-Site Reporting, Delivering Vivid Information to Urban Citizens
[Wando=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Shin Woo-cheol) is recruiting ‘Dongnae Writers’ to provide vivid information to those hoping to return to farming and rural living.
According to the county on the 19th, ‘Dongnae Writers’ will provide information that urban residents may find interesting on topics such as village introductions, rural life and farming sites, successful cases of returning to farming and rural living, traditional markets, local culture, and tourist attractions through blogs, SNS, and the Return-to-Farming and Rural Living Comprehensive Center website.
The recruitment target is any local resident who can write articles and edit photos and videos. One Dongnae Writer will be selected from each eup and myeon, totaling 12 people, and those with related experience among returnees to farming and rural living will be given priority.
Once selected as a Dongnae Writer, they will produce content through on-site surveys and interviews. The content will be registered on the Return-to-Farming and Rural Living Comprehensive Center website and simultaneously posted on personal blogs and SNS, providing various information to urban residents visiting our region.
The recruitment period is from the 18th to the 26th, and applications are accepted by the Human Resources Development Team at the Wando-gun Agricultural Technology Center. Application forms can be downloaded from the notice board on the Wando-gun website and the announcements section of the Wando-gun Agricultural Technology Center.
Lee Bok-seon, Director of the Wando-gun Agricultural Technology Center, said, “We ask those selected as Dongnae Writers to actively deliver vivid, firsthand information they have directly gathered to urban residents so that many people will have a good image of Wando and visit us.”
