Expanding the Reading Population Base through Support for Reading Culture Activities for Underprivileged Groups
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City Samsan Library announced on the 19th that it signed a business agreement with ‘Nadeuri Developmental Disability Day Activity Center (Director Kim Dong-ui)’ the day before to establish a reading culture for people with developmental disabilities and operate reading programs.
Through this agreement, Samsan Library will actively cooperate by supporting systematic programs using professional instructors, providing various reading information, and lending book materials, while Nadeuri Developmental Disability Day Activity Center will provide reading programs to the day activities of people with developmental disabilities by utilizing its information and resources.
The city plans to continuously expand book reading projects supporting marginalized groups by strengthening organic mutual cooperation and ties with institutions related to disabilities and education through this agreement.
