SJ Power has been delivering a total of 172,000 masks to vulnerable groups in the region, including multicultural families in Sejong City, starting with 72,000 masks distributed at the end of last year to foreign workers and employees of 36 companies in the Jeonui-myeon Industrial Complex, followed by 50,000 masks in March, and another 50,000 masks this time, creating a warm impression.
In addition, the company has been leading the pursuit of social values of coexistence by delivering masks to various vulnerable groups in our society, including the Korea Senior Workforce Development Institute, institutions for the education of people with developmental disabilities, senior welfare centers in other local governments, and traditional markets in Uiwang City.
Moreover, SJ Power has played a role as a social enterprise by providing jobs to vulnerable groups nearby. Last year, it signed an MOU with the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities and, in July this year, with Cheonan Inae School, an educational institution for people with developmental disabilities, to create employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The company is actively pushing forward the establishment of a standard workplace for people with disabilities, providing opportunities for independence to marginalized individuals with disabilities.
In particular, the ‘Singgeurami KF94 mask’ produced by the company using 100% domestically sourced materials is gaining increasing positive responses from consumers due to its comfortable fit that does not cause pilling even after long hours of wear, ear comfort, and thorough hygienic production in a perfect cleanroom facility.
As a result of these efforts, the masks have not only received certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety but have also passed the rigorous verification of foreign medical and health institutions, gaining recognition for their excellence overseas and steadily expanding export opportunities.

CEO Shin Hang-cheol stated, "We will continue the ongoing mask donation relay to embrace neighbors in the local community who are marginalized and struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, which has made it even more difficult for vulnerable groups to afford masks. We will persist in our efforts toward a society of coexistence and mutual growth."
