KAMCO Launches 'Beautiful Gift for Multicultural Families'... "Support for Holiday Supplies Purchase"
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Korea Asset Management Corporation (KAMCO) announced on the 18th that it will recruit applicants for the ‘Beautiful Gift for Multicultural Families’ program ahead of Chuseok next month.
The event supports multicultural families in celebrating the holiday and enables them to send thank-you gifts to their parents in their home countries. This is the second event following last year, and the application deadline is until the 27th of this month.
A total of about 160 low-income multicultural families will be supported. They will receive Onnuri gift certificates worth 300,000 KRW for purchasing holiday supplies and gift boxes worth 200,000 KRW to send to parents who are difficult to meet due to COVID-19. After screening, the selected recipients will be individually notified on the 3rd of next month.
