Providing Healthy Meals and Snacks to 30 Disabled Households and Elderly Living Alone
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] San-en-cheong Welfare Center in Gyeongnam announced on the 18th that it will provide visiting services to vulnerable homebound disabled persons and elderly living alone who have difficulty going out due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), in cooperation with Sancheong-gun.
The service, which will run until the 24th, is a program that delivers side dishes once a week to 30 households with disabled persons, provides healthy meals and snacks to vulnerable homebound disabled persons and elderly living alone, and conducts regular visits including case management.
A welfare center official said, “We plan to provide continuous visiting services so that they can live comfortably at home,” adding, “Once the welfare center returns to normal operation, we are fully preparing to offer various programs.”
