TmaxSoft Reports Operating Profit of 9.2 Billion KRW in H1, Up 42% YoY
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] TmaxSoft announced on the 18th that it recorded sales of 44.6 billion KRW and operating profit of 9.2 billion KRW in the first half of 2021. These figures represent increases of 20% and 42%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
In particular, the financial sector achieved the highest proportion of sales growth, driving overall revenue expansion. The company explained that orders and sales increased across all product lines, including middleware and frameworks, resulting in balanced growth by product.
Tmax plans to develop its business in the second half of the year with strategies such as ▲ optimizing existing core products for cloud environments ▲ stable entry into the open-source and software platform markets ▲ proactive response to large-scale projects in 2022.
Additionally, to lead the digital transformation, a key trend in IT, Tmax intends to optimize its existing middleware for cloud environments and integrate various open-source solutions into a platform form that anyone can use in the cloud environment.
Furthermore, the company plans to diversify its revenue channels by combining its strong existing system software technology with innovative open-source technologies.
