Aurora World Reports 244% YoY Increase in Operating Profit for H1... "Driving Performance in H2 with New Product Launches"
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Aurora World announced on the 17th that it recorded an operating profit of 9 billion KRW on a consolidated basis for the first half of the year. This represents a 244.1% increase compared to the same period last year.
During the same period, sales and net profit reached 77.8 billion KRW and 7.8 billion KRW, respectively, marking increases of 16.1% and 650.5%.
Looking at sales by business location, the domestic headquarters saw a 6.3% decrease compared to the same period last year, while the US subsidiary increased by 58.2% as COVID-19 recovery became visible. The UK and Hong Kong subsidiaries also grew by 22.4% and 41.2%, respectively.

An Aurora World representative stated, "In the first half, we achieved sales growth and stabilization based on the US market," adding, "In the second half, we expect sales to be driven by continuous order increases and the launch of new domestic products."
