Jin Air Reports Q2 Operating Loss of 48.8 Billion KRW... "Reduced Deficit"
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Jin Air announced on the 17th that it recorded an operating loss of 48.8 billion KRW in the second quarter of this year.
During the same period, sales increased by 173% year-on-year to 63.4 billion KRW, and the operating loss decreased to 10.8 billion KRW.
Jin Air stated, "Despite the prolonged impact of COVID-19 causing a continued slump in international passenger business, sales increased and the deficit narrowed compared to the same period last year due to an increase in domestic passengers in the second quarter."
