T'way Air Reports Q2 Operating Loss of 34.7 Billion KRW, Narrowing Deficit Compared to Previous Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] T'way Air announced on the 17th that its consolidated operating loss for the second quarter of this year was 34.7 billion KRW, narrowing the deficit compared to the same period last year (48.6 billion KRW loss).
During the same period, sales increased by 130.8% year-on-year to 56.8 billion KRW. The net loss for the period was 30.5 billion KRW.

T'way Air explained, "Despite the prolonged impact of COVID-19, performance improved somewhat by expanding domestic routes," adding, "We are preparing to introduce three mid- to long-haul aircraft, including the Airbus A330-300, to offset next year's performance."
