Moorim Holds Outdoor Advertising Design Contest for Gangnam Office Building
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Mulim, a comprehensive pulp, paper, and new materials company, is holding an outdoor advertising design contest for its Sinsa-dong headquarters building.
Mulim's Sinsa-dong headquarters is located at the entrance of the Gyeongbu Expressway on the southern end of Hannam Bridge, an area with heavy traffic and a large floating population. The advertisements selected in this contest will be posted on the outdoor billboard installed on the rooftop of the headquarters building, providing numerous advertising designers with an opportunity to showcase their work.
The theme of this contest is Mulim's new eco-friendly container business, "Pulp Mold," which will be used not only for outdoor advertising but also for various product marketing in the future. The contest, held through the design contest platform "Loud Sourcing" until the 29th, offers a total prize of 4.5 million KRW. More detailed information can be found on Mulim's website.
Mulim is holding this outdoor advertising design contest to actively enter the market ahead of the commercial production of Pulp Mold scheduled for the second half of this year. Pulp Mold is a product formed into various shapes by applying heat and pressure to disintegrated pulp. It is hygienic, convenient, and eco-friendly, used in egg packaging materials, cushioning materials for home appliance packaging, disposable bowls, food packaging, and applied across various industries.
Mulim plans to introduce products with excellent quality and cost competitiveness by producing Pulp Mold using pulp it directly manufactures, the only company in Korea to do so. In particular, it uses slurry pulp in liquid form, which provides high strength, and the raw material is directly fed through a sealed pipeline, making it safer and more hygienic. Above all, it uses 100% pulp made from natural raw materials, allowing it to be disposed of together with existing paper products and easily recycled.

A Mulim official stated, "Since it is an eco-friendly material that biodegrades even if disposed of as general waste and buried, it not only reduces carbon emissions but also does not incur costs for separate sorting and collection operations." He added, "Mulim plans to expand the production of Pulp Mold products that have various forms and functions."
