Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority Signs MOU with Chonnam National University for Joint Response to the 4th Industrial Revolution Era
Collaboration in Industry-Academia Cooperation, Development of Community Development Programs, and Building Information Modeling Design
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Cha Min-sik) announced on the 13th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Chonnam National University (President Jeong Seong-taek) for the linked development of industry-academia cooperation and joint advancement in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution.
Due to COVID-19, the MOU signing on the 12th was conducted briefly, during which both institutions agreed to expand exchanges through the activation of research in various fields and collaboration with university students.
Furthermore, over the next two years, both institutions will cooperate on industry-academia collaboration, development of community development programs, and building information modeling design for small-scale buildings by students.
Building Information Modeling (BIM) is the process of generating and managing digital representations of the physical and functional characteristics of a specific location.
