Honam University Holds 6th New Technology Lecture for 'IT Almots'

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Honam University AI Big Data Research Institute (Director Baek Ran) announced on the 12th that it held the 6th special lecture in the new technology series of "Curious Wednesday - Time for IT Novices" for youth and local communities leading the 4th Industrial Revolution era.
In this special lecture, Yoon Eui-jun, President of Korea Energy Engineering University, was invited.
President Yoon introduced various technologies related to alternative energy under the theme "What exactly is alternative energy?"
Following this, Professor Yang Seung-hak of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Honam University also participated and explained to students in an easy-to-understand manner cases of energy utilization and examples of efficiently transmitting electrical quantities.
The "Curious Wednesday - Time for IT Novices" special lecture series, arranged for 8 sessions, has two remaining lectures: on the 25th, Professor Lim Seong-bae of the University of St. Mary in the United States will present "What is Blockchain?" and on the 8th of next month, Professor Kim Joo-han of Seoul National University College of Medicine will give a lecture titled "When Artificial Intelligence Meets Medical Technology."
