Haevichi Hotel & Resort Launches 'Chuseok Gift Set'
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Haevichi Hotel & Resort announced on the 12th that it has launched a 'Chuseok Gift Set' prepared by Haevichi food and beverage experts who selected ingredients, crafted, and packaged the products ahead of Chuseok. Reservations for the Chuseok gift sets will be accepted until the 3rd of next month.
Haevichi Eoran is made from mullet caught in the Yeongsan River in Yeongam. The chefs salt the fish with sea salt and dry it on cypress wood for about 30 days, applying Munbaeju daily. It is then fermented once more with Jeju barley, resulting in a rich flavor and excellent umami taste.
Haevichi Jambon is a handmade ham made from Jeju black pork, which is chewier and more flavorful than regular pork. The chefs carefully salt it with sea salt they roast themselves, undergoing a systematic curing process to achieve a softer texture, umami, and a subtle smoky aroma.
Suun Beef Jerky is a handmade jerky made from premium cuts selected from Hanwoo cows raised in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province. It is seasoned with soy sauce made by the chefs of the Korean restaurant Suun, offering a savory and tender texture without being too salty or sweet.
Additionally, special sauces and condiments made by the chefs of Haevichi’s Korean restaurant 'Suun', Chinese restaurant 'Jungsim', and Western restaurant 'Michael by Haevichi' are also available. These sauces are used in signature dishes of each restaurant, allowing customers to recreate gourmet restaurant flavors at home. Various local specialties such as Hanwoo beef and Jeju black pork, jukbang anchovies, and Beopseongpo barley gulbi are also offered, all strictly managed from breeding to distribution.
The Chuseok gift sets can be ordered by visiting or calling Mari, the boutique shop at Haevichi Hotel & Resort Jeju, and the lounge at Rolling Hills Hotel until the 3rd of next month. To ensure product freshness, all gift set orders must be placed at least five days before the desired delivery date.
