NFC Solution Startup 'Allink' Signs MOU
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] Seven Eleven announced on the 12th that it has signed a business agreement with the near-field communication (NFC) payment solution startup 'Allink' and will introduce an iPhone-exclusive simple payment service.
Allink has implemented a 'touch payment' service similar to general simple payment apps using the iPhone, and based on this technology, an iPhone simple payment service using Mirae Asset Pay can be used at Seven Eleven.
Gu In-hoe, Head of Digital Innovation Division at Seven Eleven, said, "For the main customers of convenience stores, the MZ generation who mainly use iPhones will be able to use the touch payment service easily and conveniently at Seven Eleven," adding, "In the future, through collaboration with Allink, we plan to sequentially apply advanced technologies in various fields such as unmanned store access authentication, membership points accumulation, and adult verification."

Allink is a company invested in by Lotte Ventures, Lotte Group's startup investment specialist. Seven Eleven has been expanding cooperation with startups invested by Lotte Ventures, such as partnering with the near-expiration product trading platform 'Last Order' in January last year.
