Deloitte Consulting Selected as Top Job Creator by Ministry of Employment and Labor
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Deloitte Consulting Korea announced on the 11th that it has been selected as a '2021 Korea Job Excellence Company' hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The Korea Job Excellence Company award has been given since 2018 to encourage, share, and spread achievements in creating quality jobs within companies.
This year, due to the spread of COVID-19, the certification ceremony was held in a small-scale format in Sejong City, attended by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Employment and Labor. Deloitte Consulting received the award plaque at the Ministry of Employment and Labor's Seoul Southern Branch Office on the 11th.
Deloitte Consulting was finally selected as one of 33 mid-sized companies out of 100 companies overall, after procedures including candidate company discovery and recommendation by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, on-site inspections and opinion inquiries, and evaluation by a selection committee composed of labor-management organizations and experts.
It is the only selected company in the management consulting field. The Ministry of Employment and Labor cited Deloitte Consulting's selection reasons as △ efforts to provide stable jobs through expanding regular employment △ providing diverse work experiences through the implementation of internal circulation programs.
Job Excellence Companies will receive a presidential certificate of recognition along with about 210 administrative and financial supports such as credit rating and interest rate benefits, tax audit deferrals, and exemption from regular labor inspections for 1 to 3 years.
