Jeongcheon Village, Anseong-myeon, Muju-gun, Transformed into a 'Better Place to Live'
Implementation of Living Condition Improvement Project in Vulnerable Rural and Fishing Areas Starting Mid-November
[Muju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Han-ho] Muju County announced on the 11th that it will officially begin the rural vulnerable area living condition improvement project in Jeongcheon Village, Anseong-myeon, around mid-November.
According to Muju County, this project will invest a total of 1.57 billion KRW, including 1.06 billion KRW in national funds, to improve the residential environment such as safety and sanitation in the vulnerable area of Jeongcheon Village, Anseong-myeon, significantly enhancing the quality of life for residents.
In particular, the village, which has been considered a vulnerable area, will have its infrastructure and housing renovated through road paving, slate roof improvements, and remodeling of the village hall, greatly improving the village environment including old fences and the village well.
Additionally, the project focuses on greatly enhancing residents' quality of life by strengthening resident capabilities through educational programs, advanced site visits, and autonomous management consulting to meet living infrastructure needs.
Hwang In-hong, the governor of Muju County, said, “Once the living condition improvement project is completed, living conditions will be greatly improved, and residents' quality of life will also increase.”
