LX International Homepage Wins Red Dot Award Main Prize
Awarded at the World's Top 3 Design Awards
Applying LX Brand Colors to Promote LX International's New Start
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] LX International announced on the 10th that its corporate website won the Winner award in the Brands & Communication Design category at the Red Dot Award: Brands & Communication Design 2021, one of the world's top three design awards held in Germany.
The Red Dot Design Award is the world's largest design competition hosted by the Design Center of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany, and is considered one of the top three global design awards alongside Germany's iF and the United States' IDEA. Every year, leading global companies submit their works, and winners are selected and announced in three categories: product design, concept design, and brands & communication design.
The corporate website of LX International, which won the main prize at this year's Red Dot Design Award, applied a user-centered, original user experience (UX) design based on three concepts: Trendy, Interactive, and Innovative.
In particular, to convey the identity of LX International starting with its new name, the LX brand color was reflected throughout the site. Additionally, innovative design elements considering timeliness and usability were utilized, such as applying responsive layouts for each device and adding motion graphic effects, sensibly expressing the company's vision and key businesses.
