Shinhan Card Launches GS Retail PLCC with 24 Million Integrated Accounts
GS25, GS Shop and other GS Retail stores GS&Point 2% accumulation

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Shinhan Card is launching a private label credit card (PLCC) for the 24 million customers of GS Retail, which has newly started as an integrated corporation.
Shinhan Card announced on the 10th that it held a business agreement ceremony to launch the 'GS Prime Shinhan Card' in partnership with GS Retail. The ceremony took place at Shinhan Card's headquarters conference room in Jung-gu, Seoul, with attendees including Shinhan Card President Lim Young-jin and GS Retail Vice Chairman Heo Yeon-soo, among other company officials.
The GS Prime Shinhan Card offers 2% GS&Points accumulation on payments made at all GS Retail online and offline affiliates, including GS25, GS The Fresh (GS Fresh, GS Supermarket), GS Fresh Mall, Lalavla, and GS Shop, regardless of the previous month's spending performance. It focuses on core services without unnecessary additional benefits for GS Retail enthusiasts. At non-GS Retail affiliates, a 0.3% accumulation service is provided.
Shinhan Card and GS Retail have also prepared a launch event for the GS Prime Shinhan Card. From August 11 to September 30, customers who use the card at all GS Retail online and offline stores will receive an additional 1%, totaling 3% GS&Points accumulation. Furthermore, if cumulative spending exceeds 26,000 KRW at these stores, 25,000 GS&Points will be awarded.
Additionally, through this agreement, Shinhan Card and GS Retail plan to ▲promote activation by expanding GS Prime card issuance ▲conduct differentiated online and offline marketing to increase customer satisfaction ▲explore new business models by expanding various joint projects through big data and digital linkage.
