At the expanded executive meeting held via video conference at the provincial government's Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, Acting Governor Ha said, "Continuing the existing policy direction, maintaining the economic recovery trend, and protecting the lives and safety of residents are the top administrative priorities," expressing his intention to carry on the key policies of the 'Kim Kyungsoo administration.'
Regarding the opening of the 'Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Special Local Government Joint Promotion Office' on the 29th of last month, he said, "I understand that the government is also considering ways to accelerate the megacity through a pan-ministerial task force," emphasizing, "We must promptly discover project content and carefully prepare necessary parts such as institutional improvements and budget support from the central government."
He also ordered, "As the fourth wave of COVID-19 continues, inspect the sites to ensure that residents do not experience inconvenience while undergoing tests in the heat."
Acting Governor Ha urged, "We must continuously inspect heat-vulnerable areas such as screening clinics and outdoor construction sites and devote full efforts to disaster response work ahead of typhoon occurrences in August and September."
